Nicoleta's story

Nicoleta, who is six, lives in a Roma village in rural Romania. Her parents are both unemployed and earn money by searching for scrap metal and recycling it at a rubbish dump five miles from the family home. Travelling to the site, Nicoleta’s parents are often gone for days leaving her and her siblings on their own, and they often go to bed hungry.

With no proper heating in their home, in winter the family relies on firewood to keep warm, but when the snow comes they are cut off from the outside world.

Nicoleta is enduring a harsh winter and the struggle to survive. By sending her the gift of survival you could answer her prayers this winter.

As well as being hungry, Nicoleta needs warm clothes, shoes, socks and blankets to protect her this winter when temperatures could drop well below freezing.

By making a donation, you will be providing so much more than just practical help - as well as blankets and warm clothing, you will be showing Nicoleta that she is loved.

Matthew 25:40

Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.
